The Hive Studios x Earth.Org film screenings are back, bringing bi-monthly environmental films of the highest calibre to you across all our locations around the Asia Pacific Region. 🌿

This time we will screen Artifishal: a new Patagonia film that looks at the challenges ecologists and conservationists face in the lucrative salmon-hatchery industry.

🎟RSVP: https://bit.ly/2A31HIW

Artifishal highlights how open-net fish farms threaten the survival of wild fish. The film teaches us about the high cost — environmental, financial and cultural — of hatcheries and fish farms, and our mistaken reliance on human-engineered solutions. All the way from California to Norway, the film looks into the poor conditions of farms that breed only genetically deficient fish and the underwater wreckage due to open-water farming.

Understand the effects of artificially bred Salmon and the road of wild salmon toward extinction in this screening. 🎬
