Join us at the Hive Studios for an exclusive photography exhibition featuring the works of Hong Kong-based photographer Alexandra Edwards.

Hong Kong based mums invited Alex of Alex Edwards Photography to their most vulnerable place of their motherhood. She captured the essence of their experience through the most organic and wholesome place via photography.

The aim of this project is to portray motherhood as it is and in its pure form, open new conversations, unlock taboos and learn some more about this special journey! All of this was possible with a kind help from individual donors and Parachute, Hong Kong.

Alex Edwards is a Hong Kong based Czech photographer of events, families, creative projects and journalist photography. She held her first photo exhibition in Prague where she raised money for a Czech charity that supports underprivileged children. Then, studying Media and Creative Industries in London, she focused on photography and video student projects that raised awareness about LGBTQ community and focused on fashion and portrait photography.

In Hong Kong as a young mum, Alexandra tries to capture motherhood in its essence whilst trying to open up new conversations about taboos that maternity brings.
